GoHighLevel SaaS mode setup

By Updated

A GoHighLevel SaaS mode setup lets an agency sell sub-accounts as its own software: plans, Stripe checkout, automatic provisioning and rebilled usage. We design the offer, configure SaaS mode and rebilling, build and test the snapshot, and set up onboarding your staff can run. At the time of writing this requires HighLevel's Agency Pro plan ($497 per month).

Free 30-minute call with a free account audit. Every price is a custom quote in writing. No obligation.

  1. Your brand and domain
  2. Agency account (Agency Pro)
  3. SaaS plans
  4. Stripe checkout
  5. Sub-account from snapshot
  6. Onboarding workflows
  7. Rebilled usage
Starting point

Where SaaS launches stall

Plans created in the SaaS Configurator before anyone decided what each tier includes.

Rebilling margins set once and never compared with real usage.

A snapshot that installs workflows pointing at the wrong calendars and custom values.

Onboarding that only the founder can do, so each new client costs a week.

No help content, so support lands in the founder's inbox.

Scope

What a GoHighLevel SaaS mode setup includes

Plan design

Two or three tiers with features, limits and usage policy decided and priced, then created in the SaaS Configurator.

Rebilling

Markup on SMS, email, phone and AI per plan, wallet alerts, and a date to review margins.

Snapshot

A vertical system built and tested as a real sub-account (pipelines, workflows, calendars, forms, custom values, templates), then saved as the master snapshot with a version note.

Signup and provisioning

Stripe checkout, automatic sub-account creation from the snapshot, and the first-login experience.

Onboarding

A checklist, a welcome sequence and a setup-call script that a team member can follow.

Branding and support

Your domain and branding (see white label), a help center, and an escalation path to us for technical issues.

Outcome

What you can expect

  • Tiers a salesperson can explain and a client can buy without a call.
  • New clients provisioned from a tested snapshot in minutes.
  • Usage margins you can see and change.
  • Onboarding that does not depend on the founder.

We do not publish percentage promises. The case study shows a real build with the numbers the client reported.

Limits

What this does not cover

  • HighLevel sets the platform rules, prices and features, and changes them.
  • Each client sub-account needs its own A2P registration and sending domain; reputation is not shared.
  • Software does not retain clients on its own. Plan for support staff and help content.

FAQ

Questions we get before a project starts

What is GoHighLevel SaaS mode?

A set of Agency Pro features that let you sell sub-accounts as your own product: you define plans and prices, clients pay through Stripe, sub-accounts are created automatically from a snapshot, and usage such as SMS and email is rebilled with your markup.

Do I need the $497 plan?

At the time of writing, yes. SaaS mode, rebilling and the SaaS Configurator are Agency Pro features. Confirm on HighLevel's pricing page; plan contents change.

Can you build the snapshot for my niche?

Yes, we build the system as a real sub-account first, test it with test contacts, then save it as the master snapshot and keep a version history.

How is onboarding handled?

Signup creates the sub-account from the snapshot, an onboarding workflow sends the checklist and a booking link, and your team runs a setup call from a script we write. We train your team to run it.

Do I need the $497 plan to resell GoHighLevel?

SaaS mode and rebilling are on the $497 plan at the time of writing. Check HighLevel's pricing page for the current plan structure, because plan contents change.

What do I charge my clients?

That is your decision. Agencies set tiers by what each includes, and subtract HighLevel's plan and usage charges to find margin. We help design tiers and billing, but we do not set your prices for you.

How long does a SaaS launch take?

A scoped SaaS build typically takes six to ten weeks, depending on how many verticals you launch and whether a tested snapshot already exists. Plan design, Stripe and rebilling set-up, the snapshot and the onboarding flow are the main steps.
