By Updated 4 min read

HighLevel's public changelog listed ten updates between October 14 and October 17, 2026: three for AI Studio, two for call tracking, two for WhatsApp, and one each for new templates, gift cards and bulk sub-account administration. The ones that can change an agency's work this week are the call-source labels, the bulk feature toggle, the AI Studio checkout trigger change and the WhatsApp template builder. This digest lists every entry with its date, what it does and what to check in your own account. Each item links to HighLevel's own changelog entry, which is the source we used, read on October 18, 2026.

Which of these updates matter most for an agency?

For an agency, the October 14 to 17, 2026 updates that matter most are bulk feature updates, the new call-source labels and the AI Studio checkout trigger change.

  1. Bulk feature updates. It saves the most admin time if you manage many sub-accounts, and it is also the one that can remove a feature a live workflow depends on if used carelessly.
  2. Call-source labels. Paid call counts per platform can shift in your reports because the labelling changed, not because the ads did. Tell clients before they see it.
  3. The AI Studio checkout trigger. A workflow listening for Order Form Submission will not fire for two-step checkouts. It is the update most likely to silently break something.
  4. WhatsApp templates. Per-contact media removes a lot of template cloning and Meta re-approvals for businesses that send invoices or personalised images.

This reflects our reading of the entries, not a statement from HighLevel. We have not tested each feature in a client account; where we say "check", we mean read the changelog entry and test in a staging sub-account.

How fast does HighLevel ship updates, and why does it matter?

Ten entries in four days is the pace of one window, not a yearly average, and the changelog page shows only the latest ten at a time. What it means in practice: the platform you built on in September is not the platform you have in October. We keep a short written map of every account we build, and re-read the changelog before we promise a client a capability. For who makes these decisions, see who owns GoHighLevel; for how fees move with them, see the pricing guide.

How we choose what goes in the news section

  • We cover updates that change how an account should be built or run, and skip cosmetic ones.
  • Every item links to HighLevel's own changelog or help article and shows the date we checked it.
  • We describe only what the entry says. When we add judgment, we label it as ours.
  • When an entry's own text carries a different date from the changelog date, we say so.

Frequently asked questions about this HighLevel changelog

Where can I read the official HighLevel changelog?

You can read the official HighLevel changelog at ideas.gohighlevel.com/changelog. It also has an RSS feed. The page shows the ten most recent entries and a Load More button for older ones.

How many updates did HighLevel ship in mid-October 2026?

Ten entries are dated October 14 to 17 on the changelog: three for AI Studio, two for number-pool call tracking, two for WhatsApp, and one each for templates, gift cards and bulk sub-account feature changes.

Which October 2026 update could break an existing workflow?

The October 2026 update most likely to break an existing workflow is the AI Studio two-step checkout. According to the changelog, new leads from a two-step checkout fire the Contact Created trigger and not Order Form Submission, so a workflow that listens for the latter will not run for them.

Do the number pool changes apply to past calls?

The new source labels apply to new calls only. Past calls keep the source they already had, according to the changelog entry.

Can I manage features for many sub-accounts at once now?

Yes, select sub-accounts on the Sub-Accounts page, click Update features, and enable or disable features. Changes take effect in about 2 to 5 minutes, per the changelog.

Why do two entries say "6th of October" if the changelog shows October 16?

Both number pool entries carry a "6th of October, 2026" line in their own text while the changelog lists them on October 16. We use the changelog date and note the difference. HighLevel does not say why the dates differ.

Will you cover every HighLevel update?

No, we cover the ones that change how an account is built or run, and link to the changelog for the rest. If an update affects your account, ask us on the contact page.
