The GoHighLevel agency market in October 2026 is crowded and mostly self-ranked: every "best GoHighLevel agency" list we found was published by an agency that ranks itself, prices are published as ranges that mix hourly and project work, and the competitors that publish the most pages publish tutorials or programmatic content rather than proof. This study compares what five GoHighLevel agency sites publish (by reading their sitemaps), what the search results offer for hire-intent queries, the price ranges sellers publish, and how our own site performs on agency-intent searches. It finds one clear gap: there is no independent, evidence-based way for a buyer to choose, so the useful thing to publish is a rubric, not another ranking.
What do GoHighLevel agency sites publish? A sitemap comparison
We read the public sitemaps of competitors on October 17, 2026 and counted URLs by top-level folder. Three more agency sites (AutogenCRM, Ecosire and ConsultEvo) published sitemap indexes we did not expand, and two (The GoHighLevel Agency and Getautomized) refused our crawler, so they are not counted.
| Site | URLs in sitemap | Biggest sections | What it tells you |
|---|---|---|---|
| growthable.io | 1,046 | 854 tutorials, 84 snapshots, 60 blog posts, 9 guides | A how-to library with a snapshot shop: volume through tutorials. |
| omnionlinestrategies.com | 2,230 | 2,071 blog posts, 69 AI-visibility snapshot pages | Very large and largely templated blog (many posts are programmatic "AI agent that finds..." pages outside GoHighLevel). |
| automatethejourney.com | 279 | 148 blog posts, 50 marketing-automation pages, 40 GoHighLevel pages | Mixed: blog plus service pages and a few niches. |
| ghlscaleup.com | 160 | 102 blog posts, 19 service pages, 6 case studies, 12 marketing pages | Closest to a balanced agency site: services, proof and comparison posts such as "is GoHighLevel worth it". |
| hireghldeveloper.com | 94 | 26 portfolio, 20 service, 20 industry, 15 snapshot pages | Productised services plus a portfolio. |
| This site | 57 before this update | Solutions, industries, guides, fixes, one case study | Small and deliberate, now with answers, research and news sections. |
Page count does not equal rank, and we have no rank-tracking tool, so we do not claim which of these sites ranks best. What the table shows is strategy: tutorials at scale (Growthable), templated blog volume (Omni), or a balanced service-and-proof site (GHL Scale Up). A smaller site cannot win a volume race, which is why we publish fewer, deeper pages.

What does Google show for GoHighLevel agency and expert searches?
We ran four searches on October 18, 2026 with a web search tool. This is a snapshot of what appeared, not a rank-tracking result, and results vary by location and day.
| Search | What appeared |
|---|---|
| gohighlevel expert | Freelancer marketplace profiles, job postings, and a directory listing. Little that explains what an expert should deliver. |
| hire gohighlevel agency | Directory listings, vendor pages and a how-to-hire guide; the vendor pages are promotional. |
| gohighlevel agency best 2026 | Agency-published rankings in which the publisher names itself, a UK list that includes its publisher, and a consultant roundup. |
| who is the CEO of GoHighLevel | Podcast and interview pages, a data-vendor dossier and agency blogs. Few pages quote a primary source. See our answer. |
The gap is plain: someone trying to choose an agency has only agency-written rankings to go on.
What do GoHighLevel agencies publish as prices?
These are ranges published by sellers and guides, with their source and what they cover. They are observations, not averages, and they mix currencies, hourly work and projects.
| Provider type | Published range | Source (checked Oct 18, 2026) |
|---|---|---|
| Full-service agencies | $500 to $5,000+, depending on complexity, integrations and white label | An agency-vetting guide on breakingac.com |
| Consultants | About $2,000 to $10,000 depending on scope | A paid guide on payhip.com |
| London agencies | £90 an hour for consulting; £2,000 to £12,000 for full builds | A Softomate Solutions article (publisher ranks itself in it) |
| Virtual assistants and embedded specialists | $10 to $25 an hour; one vendor starts at $15 an hour | An Ad Snipper article |
| Freelancers advertising on Reddit | $5 to $15 an hour in titles such as "$7/hr" and "$15/hr" | r/gohighlevel posts, September 16 to October 16, 2026 |
| This agency | Basic setup and single location $500 to $4,000; white label and SaaS $3,500 to $5,000; multi-location by quote; call and audit free | Our pricing page |
The spread is wide because the work is not the same thing. An hourly assistant, a snapshot reseller and a team that audits, builds, tests and supports the account are priced differently for reasons that show up after launch. See how to hire a GoHighLevel expert for how to compare them.

How does this site perform on agency-intent searches?
From our Search Console data (180 days to October 14, 2026), 76 distinct queries containing "agency" produced 1,247 impressions. Several were queries where we sit on page one or two and received almost no clicks.
| Query | Impressions | Average position | Clicks |
|---|---|---|---|
| gohighlevel agency setup | 404 | 10.9 | 1 |
| best gohighlevel agency | 141 | 21.9 | 0 |
| gohighlevel setup agency | 127 | 12.6 | 2 |
| gohighlevel automation agency | 77 | 41.7 | 0 |
| top gohighlevel agency | 42 | 10.2 | 0 |
| who are the best gohighlevel providers | 54 | 6.8 | 0 |
Impressions are small and these are Search Console figures for this site only; they do not measure how many people search the phrases overall. The pattern is a title and answer problem, not a visibility problem, which is why the agency pages were rewritten around the question people are asking.

What should a buyer do instead of trusting a ranking?
Instead of trusting a ranking, ask any GoHighLevel agency for a live account, how they test, what they hand over, who does the work, and a written price.
- Ask for a live account, not a screenshot. A real build shows pipeline stages, named workflows and execution history.
- Ask how they test. Look for test contacts and Execution Logs checked before launch.
- Ask what is handed over. A written plan, a recording and a change log are the minimum.
- Check who does the work. A named person on a call, not a resold queue.
- Get the price in writing, with what is included and what moves it.
- Check credentials in HighLevel's directory. See what a certified GoHighLevel expert badge proves.
The same list in more detail is in how to find and vet a GoHighLevel expert, and the page for our GoHighLevel agency service shows how we answer each one.
Method, limits and what we did not do
- Sitemaps were read on October 17, 2026 from public files. Counts are URLs, not traffic, and some sitemaps include non-content pages.
- Price ranges are copied from the sources shown. We did not verify any seller's real fees.
- The search snapshot used one tool on one day. It does not show rank, and it is not personalised.
- We have no paid keyword tool, so we give no search volumes. The only demand numbers are our own Search Console impressions.
- We are one of the agencies in this market. We have tried to keep the study to what can be checked, and we do not rank ourselves.

Frequently asked questions about the GoHighLevel agency market
What is a GoHighLevel agency?
It is a company that builds, runs or resells GoHighLevel for clients. Some are marketing agencies that use it internally, some are implementation specialists, and some are resellers of sub-accounts. Ask which you are talking to.
How much does a GoHighLevel agency charge?
Published ranges run from hourly rates of $5 to $25 for assistants to £2,000 to £12,000 (London agencies) for full builds, depending on provider and scope. Our own ranges are on the pricing page.
Is there an official list of the best GoHighLevel agencies?
We did not find an official list of the best GoHighLevel agencies. The lists we saw were published by agencies that include themselves. HighLevel has its own directory of certified people; see what the badge proves.
Why does this study not rank agencies?
Because the data to do it fairly does not exist in public. A ranking from one of the contestants would repeat the problem it describes.
How many agencies use GoHighLevel?
We could not verify how many agencies use GoHighLevel. HighLevel's homepage does not state a count of agencies or customers.
Should I hire an agency or a freelancer?
Hire a freelancer for a well-defined small task you can check yourself. Hire an agency when the system touches revenue and needs testing, documentation and ongoing support. See our GoHighLevel agency page for the difference.
When will this study be updated?
When the sitemaps or published prices change enough to matter, and at least every quarter. The date on the page is the date of the last real change.
