Yes: HighLevel and GoHighLevel are the same company and the same platform. The company calls itself HighLevel and its legal terms are with HighLevel LLC; "GoHighLevel", "Go High Level" and "GHL" are the names most people still type into search, and the company's own web address still contains "gohighlevel". We could not find an official announcement of a rename, so we describe the names as used rather than claim a date. If you are comparing agencies or reading reviews, treat every spelling below as one product.
HighLevel vs GoHighLevel: what is the difference?
There is no product difference between HighLevel and GoHighLevel: they are the same software. HighLevel's own site brands the product "HighLevel" (its homepage compares "HighLevel" with HubSpot, ActiveCampaign and others, and its legal terms are with HighLevel LLC), while the domain it runs on is gohighlevel.com. Customers, agencies and search engines kept using the longer name.

Why do both names exist?
We do not have a dated source for a formal rename, so we will not invent one. What the evidence shows is that the company presents itself as HighLevel while its audience searches for GoHighLevel. In our own Search Console data the site gets impressions for "gohighlevel", "go high level", "highlevel" and "ghl" variants side by side, so people use all of them.
Does the name change anything when you hire or buy?
The name changes a few practical things when you hire or buy: search reviews under every spelling, check certification in HighLevel's directory, and expect contracts to name HighLevel LLC.
- Reading reviews. Search all spellings; some reviews are filed under "HighLevel" and others under "GoHighLevel".
- Certification and badges. If someone says they are "HighLevel certified", ask for the entry in HighLevel's directory. See what a certified GoHighLevel expert badge proves.
- Legal documents. Contracts name HighLevel LLC, not "GoHighLevel".
- Other products with similar names. Be careful with look-alike names. Confirm you are on gohighlevel.com or HighLevel's help centre before you enter payment details.
