GoHighLevel EHR integration is almost always built by a third party, not by HighLevel. Of 24 dental, medical, therapy, med spa, eye care and veterinary systems we checked on October 28, 2026, none had an integration built by HighLevel, 7 had a live connector from a company that signs a BAA, and 9 had no connector at all, including all four veterinary systems. This study lists each system, the route it uses to reach GoHighLevel, whether that route can carry patient data under HIPAA, and how good the evidence is. We are a GoHighLevel implementation team, not a connector vendor, and naming a connector here is not a recommendation.
What does GoHighLevel EHR integration mean in practice?
GoHighLevel EHR integration means moving appointment and patient-contact data between your clinical system and GoHighLevel by one of four routes, and the route decides whether that data can include protected health information. GoHighLevel runs the front office (inquiries, reminders, recall, reviews). The EHR or practice-management system keeps the clinical record. The four routes:
| Route | How it works | Can it carry PHI? | Cost notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| HighLevel Marketplace app | An app a developer publishes in HighLevel's Marketplace, installed inside the account | Only if the developer signs a BAA with you; HighLevel's HIPAA article does not mention Marketplace apps | Set by the developer |
| HIPAA connector (for example Keragon) | A middleware service with GoHighLevel triggers and actions on one side and the EHR on the other | Yes, if the connector signs a BAA and you are on a plan it covers | Connector subscription |
| Zapier or Make | General automation tools with GoHighLevel apps | No. Zapier says it "can't sign business associate agreements"; we found no Make statement offering one | Per-task plans |
| Direct webhook or API | The EHR sends webhooks to a GoHighLevel inbound webhook, or a custom build calls both APIs | Only between parties with BAAs, and with HIPAA on in the receiving sub-account | HighLevel premium workflow actions: 100 free executions per sub-account, then $0.01 each |
What the HIPAA add-on covers inside GoHighLevel is on our HIPAA page. How to build the workflows once data arrives is in HIPAA compliant workflow automation.
How we researched GoHighLevel healthcare integrations
We checked each system against the same five questions on October 28, 2026: is there a HighLevel Marketplace app, is there a third-party connector, is the vendor's API open or partner-gated, does the connector sign a BAA, and where does each answer come from. Zapier and Make app listings were checked at their app directory addresses. Vendor developer pages, partner pages and HighLevel's help center and ideas board were read directly.
| Grade | Meaning |
|---|---|
| A | Stated on the vendor's own page, the connector's own page or a HighLevel page we read |
| B | Reputable third party with a date |
| C | Forum post, marketing page or a rival vendor's claim, not confirmed at the source |
| X | Not found |
Limits we could not get around: HighLevel's Marketplace listings load by script, so we could not read two dental listings directly. Several vendor developer pages were blocked or offline (listed in the limits section). "No Zapier app found" means none at the expected addresses, not proof that none exists.
GoHighLevel EHR integration results at a glance
The 24 systems sort into four groups by the best route we found to GoHighLevel. Only the first group gives a practice a ready connection that can carry patient data under a BAA today.
| Group | Systems | Count |
|---|---|---|
| Live connector that signs a BAA | Open Dental, athenahealth, eClinicalWorks, DrChrono, Tebra, ModMed, Boulevard | 7 |
| Connector exists, but no BAA stated or BAA connector only "upon request" | Dentrix, Eaglesoft, Curve Dental, TherapyNotes, Compulink, Zenoti | 6 |
| Vendor sends webhooks a GoHighLevel workflow can receive | Mangomint, AestheticsPro | 2 |
| No connector found (partner API at most) | ChiroTouch, Jane App, ChiroFusion, SimplePractice, RevolutionEHR, ezyVet, Cornerstone, AVImark, Shepherd | 9 |

Does GoHighLevel integrate with Dentrix, Open Dental or Eaglesoft?
GoHighLevel connects to Dentrix and Open Dental through third-party sync apps, and to Eaglesoft and Curve only through one dental sync vendor's own claim. Open Dental has the clearest path, because its API access is a short email request.
| System | Route to GoHighLevel | Vendor API access | BAA on the route | Grade |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Dentrix (Henry Schein One) | SmartSync links to a "Dentrix to GHL" Marketplace listing we could not open; Keragon lists Dentrix "upon request" | Partner-gated through the Dentrix Ascend API Exchange; Henry Schein One contacts you after a form | SmartSync: not stated. Keragon: yes, once available | A for API, C for the listing |
| Open Dental | SmartSync (Marketplace listing claimed); Keragon has a live Open Dental and GoHighLevel connection | Email vendor relations for Developer Portal access, "one to three business days" | Keragon: yes | A |
| Eaglesoft (Patterson) | SmartSync lists it; no other connector found | Partner-gated. A Patterson email quoted on HighLevel's ideas board (June 2024) mentions a $3,000 to $5,000 enrolment fee | Not stated | A for SmartSync, C for the fee |
| Curve Dental | SmartSync lists it; no other connector found | No API information on Curve's partner page | Not stated | A for SmartSync, X for API |
How a dental practice uses GoHighLevel once data flows, including recall, is on GoHighLevel for dental practices.
Which medical EHRs connect to GoHighLevel?
athenahealth, eClinicalWorks, DrChrono, Tebra and ModMed all connect to GoHighLevel through a HIPAA connector that signs a BAA, and none of them has a Zapier or Make app. eClinicalWorks is the only one whose FHIR APIs the vendor says are open to third-party developers "at no cost at this time".
| System | Route to GoHighLevel | Vendor API access | Grade |
|---|---|---|---|
| athenahealth | Keragon connection, including an appointment-sync template | Sandbox self-serve; production needs athenahealth Marketplace approval (third-party sources; the vendor docs blocked our request) | A for route, C for API |
| eClinicalWorks | Keragon app; SmartSync lists it | Certified FHIR APIs open to third-party developers at no cost | A |
| DrChrono | Keragon connection | API docs exist; the access process was not confirmed on a vendor page | A for route, X for access |
| Tebra (Kareo) | Keragon connection | SOAP API with a customer key generated by an admin; partner terms not stated | A |
| ModMed | Keragon connection | Partner-gated: app registration, demo and technical review before a production key, up to two weeks | A |
Keragon's own pages disagree on scope: one says "BAA on all plans", another says it signs a BAA "on paid plans". Confirm which plan you need before patient data moves. For the GoHighLevel side of a medical setup, see GoHighLevel for medical practices.
Does GoHighLevel integrate with ChiroTouch or Jane App?
GoHighLevel has no working connector for ChiroTouch, Jane App or ChiroFusion that we could find. HighLevel users have asked for ChiroTouch and Jane integrations on HighLevel's ideas board, and neither request has a staff reply.
| System | What we found | Grade |
|---|---|---|
| ChiroTouch | An ideas-board post (March 2025, 15 votes) says the former partner connector's company is "no longer in business". No Keragon, Zapier or Make app. No public developer program found | C |
| Jane App | Jane runs a developer site with partner webhooks "registered by the authenticated partner", so access is for approved partners. Ideas-board request from August 2024, 24 votes, no status | A for the developer site, C for gating |
| ChiroFusion | No public API documentation; its manual shows only named partner integrations | X |
A chiropractic practice on these systems runs GoHighLevel as the front office with staff updating visit status. The workflows are on GoHighLevel for chiropractors.
Does GoHighLevel integrate with SimplePractice or TherapyNotes?
GoHighLevel does not integrate directly with SimplePractice or TherapyNotes. SimplePractice has no public API or webhooks, according to Keragon's August 2026 write-up, and TherapyNotes is listed by Keragon only as "upon request". A HighLevel ideas request for a SimplePractice API link was posted on August 13, 2026 with one vote. Workarounds such as calendar sync or email parsing exist, but each one moves patient data, so each needs a BAA review first.
Which med spa systems connect to GoHighLevel?
Med spa systems have the widest mix of routes. Zenoti and Boulevard have Zapier apps, Boulevard also has a HIPAA connector, and Mangomint and AestheticsPro send webhooks a GoHighLevel workflow can receive.
| System | Route to GoHighLevel | BAA on the route | Grade |
|---|---|---|---|
| Zenoti | Zapier app (40 triggers, 13 actions). API and webhooks need Zenoti's API package through your success manager | Zapier: no | A |
| Boulevard | Keragon app with triggers and actions; Zapier app (9 triggers, 7 actions) | Keragon: yes. Zapier: no | A |
| Mangomint | Webhooks for appointments, sales and memberships; no public REST API found | Depends on the receiver | A |
| AestheticsPro | Its integrations page says "HighLevel can receive real client activity data" by webhook | Depends on the receiver | A |
Zenoti in detail, including what each system should own, is on Zenoti vs GoHighLevel. The wider build is on GoHighLevel for med spas.
Does GoHighLevel integrate with RevolutionEHR or Compulink?
GoHighLevel has no ready connector for RevolutionEHR, and Compulink is listed by Keragon only as "upon request". RevolutionEHR works through a partner program enabled under Practice Preferences, Partner Integrations, and we found no public API documentation. Eye care workflows that run without a sync are on GoHighLevel for optometrists.
Does GoHighLevel integrate with veterinary software?
GoHighLevel does not integrate with ezyVet, Cornerstone, AVImark or Shepherd through any connector we could find, so a veterinary practice cannot sync appointments into GoHighLevel without a custom build. One page ranking for "GoHighLevel for veterinarians" says a Zapier or Make route exists for AVImark, Cornerstone and ezyVet; we found no Zapier or Make app for any of them.
| System | Vendor API access | Grade |
|---|---|---|
| ezyVet (IDEXX) | Public developer docs; access by partner application, plus approval from each clinic | A |
| Cornerstone (IDEXX) | IDEXX's integration page names no API or process | A (silent) |
| AVImark (Covetrus) | Covetrus runs a technology integration partner program; the page does not name AVImark or say how to join | A (partial) |
| Shepherd | Developer docs with token authentication; its access and pricing page returned "not found" | A (partial) |
Veterinary practices are not covered entities under HIPAA, which simplifies the data question, but state privacy law and texting consent still apply. Without a sync, the practical setups are a staff-updated status in GoHighLevel, a regular contact import, or a partner-approved custom build.
What HighLevel's own integration tools can do
HighLevel gives every account the building blocks for a custom EHR connection: an inbound webhook trigger, outbound and custom webhook actions, and API v2. All are documented on HighLevel's help center and developer site, checked October 28, 2026:
- Inbound Webhook trigger. Accepts POST, GET and PUT requests at a unique URL and maps the payload to fields.
- Webhook action. Sends contact and trigger data out by POST. It cannot send images or files.
- Custom Webhook action. GET, POST, PUT and DELETE, with Bearer, API key, Basic, OAuth2 or custom header authentication.
- Pricing. Inbound and custom webhooks are premium workflow features: 100 free executions per sub-account, then $0.01 per execution.
- API. API v1 reached end of support on December 31, 2025. API v2 uses OAuth 2.0 for Marketplace apps and private integration tokens for single-account use.
- Zapier and Make. HighLevel appears on Zapier as "LeadConnector" and on Make as "GoHighLevel". Neither tool signs a BAA, so neither can carry patient data.
HighLevel's HIPAA article does not say whether webhooks or the API fall under its BAA, so we treat every destination as needing its own. More on the API in our GoHighLevel API guide and on all routes in GoHighLevel integrations.
Which integration route should a practice choose?
Choose the route by your system's group in this study: a BAA-signing connector if one is live, webhooks into a HIPAA sub-account if your system sends them, and a front-office setup with no sync if neither exists.
| If your system is in this group | What we build |
|---|---|
| Live connector that signs a BAA | Connector under a signed BAA, appointment and patient-contact sync only, minimum fields, tested both ways |
| Connector without a stated BAA | Get the BAA in writing first. If it is refused, sync only non-PHI fields or treat the system as unsynced |
| Vendor webhooks | Webhooks into a GoHighLevel inbound webhook in a HIPAA-enabled sub-account, with a BAA with the vendor |
| No connector | GoHighLevel as the front office: bookings and statuses updated by staff, reminders and recall from GoHighLevel, clinical records left in the EHR |
If you are still choosing a platform, our healthcare clinic setup page explains where GoHighLevel fits next to an EHR. If you already run GoHighLevel, our audit checks your current connections against this study.
Limits of this study
- This is a snapshot from October 28, 2026. Connectors launch and close often; one Zenoti page we found in search had already been taken down.
- Two HighLevel Marketplace listings could not be read because they load by script. Their existence rests on the developer's own links.
- Vendor pages we could not open: athenahealth developer docs (blocked), DrChrono API docs (did not render), Boulevard developer docs (offline), Shepherd access page (not found).
- We did not test any connector with live patient data, and we do not report pricing for connectors.
- Keragon is the HIPAA connector that appears most in this study because it publishes per-system pages. Other HIPAA middleware may cover systems listed here as unconnected.

Frequently asked questions about GoHighLevel EHR integration
Does GoHighLevel have a native EHR integration?
GoHighLevel has no EHR integration built by HighLevel that we could find among 24 practice systems checked on October 28, 2026. Connections come from third parties: Marketplace apps, HIPAA connectors, Zapier or Make, or a custom webhook and API build. Check who built the connection and whether they sign a BAA.
Can I connect my EHR to GoHighLevel with Zapier?
You should not connect an EHR to GoHighLevel with Zapier if patient data moves, because Zapier says it does not support HIPAA data and cannot sign business associate agreements. Use a connector that signs a BAA, or a direct webhook between parties that have BAAs, and keep Zapier for data with no PHI.
Does GoHighLevel integrate with Dentrix?
GoHighLevel connects to Dentrix through a third-party dental sync app, not through HighLevel. SmartSync links to a Dentrix listing in HighLevel's Marketplace, and Keragon lists Dentrix as available on request. Dentrix's own API access runs through Henry Schein One's API Exchange, which is partner-gated.
Does GoHighLevel integrate with Jane App?
GoHighLevel does not integrate with Jane App through any connector we found on October 28, 2026. Jane offers webhooks only to approved partners, and a HighLevel ideas-board request for a Jane integration from August 2024 has no status. Practices on Jane run GoHighLevel for inquiries and reminders, with staff updating visit status.
Does GoHighLevel integrate with SimplePractice?
GoHighLevel does not integrate directly with SimplePractice, which has no public API or webhooks according to a connector vendor's August 2026 review. Calendar sync and email parsing workarounds exist, but each moves patient data, so a therapy practice needs a BAA with every tool in the chain before using one.
Can GoHighLevel connect to veterinary practice software?
GoHighLevel cannot connect to ezyVet, Cornerstone, AVImark or Shepherd through any ready connector we found. A connection needs a custom build against the vendor's partner API, after partner approval. Without one, veterinary practices use GoHighLevel for reminders and reviews with staff-updated appointment status.
Do GoHighLevel webhooks cost extra?
GoHighLevel's inbound and custom webhooks are premium workflow features: each sub-account gets 100 free executions, then $0.01 per execution, with lower rates on paid Workflow Pro plans, per HighLevel's help article modified September 28, 2026. A busy clinic syncing every appointment change should budget for it.
Is a HIPAA connector enough to make an EHR integration compliant?
A HIPAA connector is not enough on its own. The connector needs a signed BAA on the plan you use, the receiving GoHighLevel sub-account needs HIPAA enabled, and the sync should move only the fields the front office needs. Our HIPAA workflow guide covers the rest.
